PU LLB 3-Year Course Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the PU-LL.B 2013 entrance exam, candidates must fulfill at least one of the following academic conditions:

✅ Bachelor’s Degree Holders:

• Must have completed or appeared in the final year of a Bachelor's degree in any faculty from Panjab University with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/BC).

• OR from any other recognized university with the same percentage criteria.

✅ Language Degree Holders:

• Candidates with degrees from Panjab University or equivalent, in Modern Indian Languages (Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi in Gurmukhi script) or Classical Languages (Sanskrit, Persian, Arabic) can also apply. In such cases, English and optional elective subjects will be excluded from percentage calculation.

✅ Master’s Degree Holders:

• Those with a Master’s degree in any discipline from Panjab University or from another recognized university equivalent to PU standards are eligible.

🚫 Not Eligible:

Candidates who obtained 10+2 or graduation/post-graduation directly through open universities without any foundational qualifications are not eligible for admission.
